Types of Sedation
Nitrous Oxide
At Kid’s Choice our goal is for your child to experience a safe, stress-free environment. One way we are able to achieve that is through the use of nitrous oxide, known as “laughing gas.” This mild form of sedation is a safe and effective method of reducing a child’s pain and anxiety during dental procdures.
General Anesthesia
Our fully trained anesthesiologist team provides the safest care for children undergoing sedation. Through special training and experience, our team takes the time to understand your child’s needs, evaluate their health history and present all possible options. A doctor will consult with you before the procedure and conduct a short interview to determine whether your child is a suitable candidate for in-office anesthesia. Children treated in our office-based setting will go home the same day.
